how long should we wait before resorting to a backup?
This is not part of my signature; I type this every time.

Sorry im not a admin, but i cannot let this go to rest.
I can promise, 100%, that he DOES NOT HACK. I have played him serveral times, watched the demos, watched him in spec, even took the time to look at his steam profile, and the evidence is all there. The demos show that he is a awesome player that actually LISTENS to sounds around him, The several times i spec him, there is nothing to saw he hacks. Ive seen his hearing abillitys, so to speak, and i can assure you he doesnt have any of these hacks you speak off. Lets take a few player here for example for this next opinion. If ian always scored perfect, how many of us would accuse him of hacking? If a normal player always scored 20 - 1 on a map, would you call him a hacker? Sure you would, rightfully. We always suck. Nothing person to all of us. We have our good rounds, and our bad ones. If he hacked, the VAC would catch his feebler attempts, and any better would be EASILY noticed. I say you take a look at these logs.
I do not know him entirly, but the times that ive played against him, i can tell he isnt hacking. And if he only uses hacks some of the times, what is the point in that? Thats all i got to say.

Sorry I forgot to mention that backups need to show up in the steam group chat 15 minutes before we start in order to play. Whoever isn't in the steam group chat will be cut and the backup will replace them.

CONGRATS TO THE POKER TOURNEY WINNERS!!

1st Place: k (kayy)
2nd Place: twicether
3rd Place: omeg4/(CYBA)PyscloneTron*

Sorry for the rough start; this was our first time holding a tournament outside of our normal servers & using this free poker website. We'll try to improve on things for the future :D I hope you guys had a good time after things finally were underway.

Thank you to everyone else who participated, helped with organizing/leading the tables, and made this a memorable event. Also, a shoutout to 14ers for planning this out with me & trying to make things work.

Good game people at Table 8. Stupid Blimmp. making me go all in.

Good job Sucky/14ers. It was run well except for the fact that the website wasn't exactly very easy to work with.

Hope to have another one in the future.

What's that supposed to mean? :)

Great tourney, even though it did take a while to get things going. It's unfortunate people were too impatient to wait because it was fun once it got started. Definitely did not play as well as I wanted to, but hopefully there will be a next time hah.

Thanks to 14ers and Mr. Sucky for putting this together and hopefully we can do this again sometime. It was a little bit unorganized but it was c4a's first poker tournament and the next one will definitely be better. Congrats to the winners.

Seriously.. 10/9 suited with 1800 chip stack when the blinds are 75/145. Someone calls 145 and I raise to 600. Kay decides that 1800 is a time he has to go all in and 10/9 suited out of position is the hand to do it with. I had pocket aces and he hits a 10 and a 9 on the flop. Not sure how you can say that was the right move to do.

Its the right move for me. There is not perfect move in poker. I didnt put you on aces probably a high pair or a k  or k q offsuit.  Suited connector midhigh at that is a good hand to try and make a move especially online in a free tourny. You have to take a risk online to win these types of matches rather than sit and slowing killed away by a very aggressive and fast blind system. Sometimes it works sometimes it  doesnt. I was beat pretty bad with a few good hands, its how it goes, but I went from 1k to 18k in a few hands cause I took the chance

:)

Anyhow lets not dwell on it, thats poker and especially online it can be random and frustrating, I know.

1800 chips at that early of a stage in the tournament is pretty good and doesn't mean you have to go all in. You were 3rd last at the time with a couple others hovering around 2300-2800 as well. Mathematically, you had around 12 big blinds and about 60 hands before you would have no chips at all. With those kind of blinds you'd have to have about 800 chips to consider going all in vs a 600 chip raise with a 10/9 suited.

It wasn't the right move for anybody in that kind of situation unless you're just hoping for the best because you have no idea what you are doing.

I play aggresive when im down chips I was shortstacked at the time 1300 chips... less that half of the next player and please dont insult me because you lost, it was a bad beat for you but you had enough chips to come back around the same I had before the hand. I've been very successful playing online poker and after all I did win the tournamnet if I had no idea what I was doing what are you trying to say about everyone that played. I expect a bit better from you cy you've were going on about it the whole game. -_-

You were at 1800 and Venom had around 800 chips at that point, and the average chip stack was probably around 2800. The only reason why I'm talking about it now is because you posted it in your first post here like you were right in your decision. The fact that everyone else at the table knew that you were pretty dumb at making that move would make most people recognize that. But anyways congrats on the win and it's good to see you on the forums again since its been a while.

lol where in my first post did I mention anything about my being right or wrong it was just a joke I thought it was said and done by now. You should play more freeroll online tournys and see the stuff that goes on. Maybe you wouldnt have done that, oh well most of poker plays are not black and white like that right or wrong. Thanks and yeah I have had alot of stuff going on lately but I was always around checking up.

It was run well except for the fact that the website wasn't exactly very easy to work with.

I'd rather download and install new software (like PokerStars).

with programs like poker stars and full tilt poker and others of that nature, you cant set up private tables (for free (at least you cant on full tilt cause i use that one)) so this tournament wouldnt have been possible using one of those.

Congrats on the win Kayy, only wish i could have played but the damn site didnt work for me, or my respected table.

Correct. Trust me, 14ers and I searched around a lot for places that we could setup free private tables using "play money," and 5pmpoker was the best place we could find.

If in the future people want it held elsewhere, we need to find a place to play that allows for what is mentioned above.

Regardless, sorry for the troubles people faced. We'll try to be make it easier in the future. What do you expect in a FREE tourney where you can win $$$? :P

I still have yet to receive an email or invite lolol. Oh well, at least you guys got it going fine it looks like.

Another poker tournament would be cool; I'd be down for that. But there has to be another site out there better than that 5pm site... it looked so ...ghetto and it was slooooow.
