Having a little bit of trouble understanding the instructions it has given me on this website:

Do I need to purchase a website domain, or can I set it up through my FTP.
Also can I use another servers sv_downloadurl if they are going to be hosting similar downloads?

All the fastdl does is point your players to a web server to download the files they need instead of directly off your server.

This would mean you need your own hosting.

I am sure you could use someone elses fastdl but to be honest thats a shitty thing to do unless you get permission.

Get yourself a host and set up a cstrike folder and make sure ur files match your server FTP like all maps are in maps folder sprites in sprites folder ETC its pretty simple just match ur files and make sure they are the same files so it will work rite, once u have that done go to your server.cfg and do

sv_downloadurl "http://www.yourdomain.com/cstrike/"

and u should be good to go its very simple

Oh Im not looking to mooch off another servers fastdl webhosting, im trying to figure this out on my own.

So it'd be Lupin, OJ, Lilman, And Niven. Still need 3 more, 1 atleast for sure tho.

Oh and do u guys know of a free webhosting where it will actually let me create a cstrike folder on it, or to have it like that ill have to purchase a domain and what not?

You can get free hosting, just google it. It doesn't have to be in a cstrike folder, you can put everything on the root, just like ours: http://steam.cause4alarm.net
